Welcome 2017

Happy New Year! Hoping you and your family had a wonderful holiday.

It's been a mix of fun, busy and sickness here. Nothing major just a chest cold that seems to linger for awhile.

I found the Eucalyptus Scrub very helpful this past week, as well as the Eucalyptus Chest Rub.

I was able to capture some precious moments in time lately. This boy and this dog really have my heart.

Christmas this year with Oliver was fun because he's just now at the age to really grasp it all. I was as giddy as he was with anticipation for Christmas morning! He was of course excited about what Santa was going to bring, I was excited to see his reaction. He was pretty sleepy Christmas morning after a late night; but he was excited.

On the farm, we have been pretty busy. Winter means hay out for the cattle & horses every couple days, constantly checking water tanks and refilling and nervously waiting to see how our first winter with bees turns out. So far, so good! We can't really check the hives again until it's warmer but on the few nice days we have had there has been activity at the hives. They have plenty of honey stores as well as sugar boards so I have a good feeling they will be just fine.

It's a bit noisy around here the last few days. it's weaning time for the cows and boy are they bawling! Each day it is a little more quiet though. We separated the moms and calves the other day and this is what I walked out to when we went to move them! Really? It's like they knew!

However, we do fence line weaning, so although they can not be right next to one another, there is only a fence that separates them, making it a little less stressful for both sides of the fence.

Now that the holidays have come and gone.. I can get back to work! I am excited about new products I have available now and some yet to come.

One new one is Whipped Lavender Scrub. Perfect for a relaxing shower or bath. The new whipped formula helps keep the scrub together more and I LOVE IT! I think you will too.

I don't really make Nee Years Resolutions.. but I do take this time to reflect on the past year and plan for the coming year. Co-Op Chicks has grown leaps and bounds over the past year. I am so very grateful for this. I shipped several orders from California to New Jersey; and a few states in between! I plan to grow even more in 2017.

As people are becoming more aware of what they are using on their skin, the simplicity of nature is more and more appealing. Although, I have heard from several clients that they would love Co-Op Chicks products even if they weren't all natural; it's just a bonus that they are. The bottom line for many, is that the products just plain work!

Also, this. Happy Hands. It's best described as a mix between a lotion and a balm. A blend of beeswax, organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, sweet almond oil and a generous amount of peppermint essential oil. Really helps aching hands. I have had this available in the past, sold out and overlooked that it was not back up on my website until a client that LOVES it asked me to please put it back on the site. This 2 oz tin will last a very a long time, as a little goes a long way.

For healthy, glowing and polished skin check out all Co-Op Chicks products.

As always, if you have any suggestions, please let me know. I am always open to improving and expanding.
